Business - Giving Back September 18 2016, 0 Comments
I am a firm believer, in giving back to my local community, and other local and international charities close to my heart, as and when I can, both in my time, or by donating a bespoke handcrafted gift or raffle prize, or by organising events.
I have organised a charity masked ball at the wonderful Tickton Grange,to raise funds for charities that are close to my heart, The Skin Cancer Foundation, The Stroke Association, and The Autistic Society, to which we had over 200 people attend for a red carpet reception with photos, a delicious 3 course meal, burlesque dancers, a singer/comedian and a magnificent DJ and compare, who did a wonderful job of overseeing our raffle on the evening, for which we had some fab donations, it was lovely seeing my hard work come together, and seeing everyone dressed up in their finery and masks.
I have donated bespoke gift hampers to the local N.U.R.S.E charity, and other bespoke gifts to other local charities and pageants within the East Riding Of Yorkshire.
But I think one of my favourites, has to be the bespoke handcrafted help for heroes bracelet, I created for a charity ball, I chose the colours of each of the armed forces, to feature throughout the bracelet, and I chose words that I felt represented, what our heroes gave us, I used a mixture of hand blown glass beads, sterling silver charms, and Swarovski crystals, all individually wire wrapped onto a sterling silver bracelet base.
I try and help where I can, so if you have a charity event coming up, please feel free to contact me on firstname.lastname@example.org with your request, and I will see what I can do, but please note I cannot help everyone, as much as I would love to, so please don't be offended if I cannot help this time around.
